NTA (National Testing Agency) has invited applications from the eligible candidates for NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) Entrance Examination for Admissions into UG, PG and Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic year 2025-26. The NTA will conduct the Entrance Examinations for UG & PG Programmes (Regular,

NLEA, Artisans) and Ph. D for NIFT Admissions –2025 UG (Bachelor of Design (B.Des.),

Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.), & PG Programmes.

Important Dates

Online registration and submission of Application Form through NTA Website: 22 November 2024 to 06 January 2025

 Last date for submission of application with late fees of ₹ 5000/- (in addition to the applicable application fee):  07 January 2025 to 09 January 2025

Correction in the Particulars of Application Form:  online only 10 January 2025 to 12 January 2025

 Mode of Examination:  Computer Based Test (CBT)-GAT Paper Based Test (PBT)-CAT .

Date of Examination Schedule:  09 February 2025 (Sunday)

Bachelor’s Programmes (B.Des & B.F.Tech): Who can apply?

  Any candidate who is an Indian Citizen and fulfils the prescribed age and educational qualification criteria for the concerned programme can apply. 

1. Qualifying Age: Maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PwD) categories. 

2. Educational Qualification:  A. Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Programmes (Accessory Design/Fashion Communication/Fashion Design/ Fashion Interiors / Knitwear Design/Leather Design/ Textile Design) •  Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. or •  A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects. or • 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education after secondary examination /10th standard. or •  Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system. or •  General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate 

(IB). 

B. Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F. Tech) Programme •  Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi / Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Mathematics. or •  A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Mathematics. or • 3 or 4 years diploma in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education after Secondary Examination /10th standard. or •  Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system with Mathematics. or •  General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Mathematics / International Baccalaureate (IB).

Meet the Author programme organised at KV Donimalai

     Vidyalaya Library organised a Meet the Author programme at KV Donimalai in connection with the National Library Week celebrations 2024. Kannada writer Sh. Nagraj S interacted with the children. Our students asked many questions regarding writing, reading and publishing. Sh. Nagaraj S answered all the questions aptly. Vidyalaya Principal Sh. Banshi Lal welcomed the guest. Senior most teacher Smt. Kasthuri Raja and Vidyalaya Libraraiam Sh. Muhammed Shafi V also spoke in the event. 

 

Book fair organised at KV Donimalai

The Scholastic Inc. organised a 3 day book fair at Vidyalaya Auditorium from 18 November to 20 November 2024. Vidyalaya Principal Sh.Banshi Lal Inaugurated the fair in the presence of students. They displayed almost all their famous series including Geronimo Stilton, Dog Man, Thea Stilton etc. Many activities like word puzzles, lucky draw etc also conducted in connection with the book fair. The book fair organized by Scholastic Inc. was a resounding success! Children had an absolute blast solving word puzzles, browsing through a vast array of books, and making exciting purchases. It was wonderful to see them so engaged and enthusiastic about reading.

 

Drop Everything And Read 2024 @ KV Donimalai

 

The students and staff members of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Donimalai dropped all their works and spent the first period for reading on 16th November, 2024. It was the programme called D.E.A. R (Drop Everything And Read) organised by the Vidyalaya Library in connection with the National Library Week  celebrations 2024. This programme is designed to make reading a priority activity in their lives.
