Reading Competition Inspires Young Readers at KV Donimalai
Donimalai, June 27, 2026: As part of the National Reading Month Celebrations 2026, Kendriya Vidyalaya Donimalai organised a Reading Competition to foster a love for reading and enhance students' reading skills.
More than 60 students enthusiastically participated in the competition. Each participant was given a storybook placed on the stage and allowed five minutes to read and familiarise themselves with the text before presenting it aloud before the audience.
The participants were evaluated by a panel of judges on the basis of their pronunciation, fluency, confidence, clarity, and overall reading skills. The competition provided students with an excellent opportunity to improve their public reading abilities while boosting their self-confidence.
The event witnessed active participation and enthusiastic support from students and teachers alike. It successfully promoted the joy of reading and reinforced the importance of developing effective reading habits as part of the National Reading Month Celebrations.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal highlighted the importance of reading in every individual's life. He emphasized that reading broadens knowledge, develops critical thinking, enriches vocabulary, and builds confidence. He encouraged students to cultivate the habit of regular reading, stating that it is one of the most effective ways to become confident speakers and future leaders.
The inauguration marked the beginning of a month-long series of reading-related activities aimed at fostering a reading culture among students and inspiring them to become lifelong readers.
D.E.A.R. Activity Promotes Reading Habit at KV Donimalai
Donimalai, July 3, 2026: As part of the National Reading Month Celebrations 2026, Kendriya Vidyalaya Donimalai conducted the D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) programme on July 3, 2026, to promote the habit of reading among the school community.
Students, teachers, and staff members assembled in the school assembly area, setting aside all other activities to read books together. The unique initiative created a peaceful and engaging reading environment, reinforcing the importance of reading as a lifelong habit. The programme was a memorable experience for all participants and successfully spread the message of cultivating a strong reading culture.

NATA 2026: APPLY NOW
National Aptitude Test in Architecture
NATA is an aptitude test that assesses a candidate’s innate ability through a variety of testing formats and cannot be taught, learnt or induced. NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study i.e. Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years and is related to the specific field of study.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by COA since 2006, to qualify for the admission to Bachelor of Architecture. The Council has prescribed COA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 1983 and the CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020, with the approval of the Central Government in terms of Sections 21 & 45 of the Architects Act, 1972.
NATA 2026 shall adopt a percentile-based scoring system to ensure a uniform and fair assessment of candidates across multiple test sessions. A candidate shall be permitted to appear in only one Phase of NATA 2026. Admissions to the B.Arch. Degree programme against vacant seats remaining at the institutional level, after completion of all CAP rounds conducted by the respective Competent Admission Authority, may be made on the basis of the Raw Score obtained either during Phase-1 or Phase-2 of NATA 2026. A candidate may appear for either up to two attempts in Phase 1 for being considered for admission through Centralized Admission Counselling or one attempt in Phase 2 of NATA 2026 for being considered for admission to vacant seats after Centralized Admission Counselling. Each attempt will generate a raw score, and a Statement of Marks/Score Card indicating the raw score obtained will be issued after every attempt. After completion of all test sessions in Phase 1, the final percentile score shall be calculated based on the candidate’s best performance, relative to the entire population of examinees. However, after completion of Phase-2, only Raw scores shall be generated without any Percentile.

Passed or appearing in 10+2 Examination with subjects specified under 5.2.
Passed or appearing in 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a subject.
5.2 The Council of Architecture, with the approval of the Central Government, has prescribed the eligibility for admission to 1st year of 5-year B.Arch. Degree Course as prescribed under Regulation 4(1) of the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations 2020, which is stated as under: 5.0 No candidate shall be admitted to Architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma

Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, is recognized both within the country and abroad as one of the important centres in India for research and teaching in mathematical sciences.. All B.S. (Honours) students undergo the same core set of basic and advanced undergraduate courses in mathematics in the first two years. In addition, the B.S. (Honours) Mathematics and Computer Science programme also includes a number of courses on fundamental topics in computer science. Students in the B.S. Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) @ IIM Rohtak: Apply Now
IIM Rohtak introduced the Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) in the year 2019 for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is an integrated programme that combines undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses on management. The IPM programme aims at molding outstanding young students into managers and leaders. On successful completion of the academic rigor of 5 years, the participant will be awarded with Integrated Degree of BBA, + MBA.. IIM Rohtak invited applications from the candidates fort the IPM 2026-31 session.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to apply for this programme.
- Minimum 60% (55 % for SC, ST & DAP) in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
- Maximum 20 years (25 years for SC & ST category) of age as of June 30, 2026
Note 1: Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2026 can also apply, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria after the declaration of results (only in case of XIIth standard) as mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered provisional admission to the programme. At the time of registration for the programme, such candidates must produce X and XII standard mark sheets (securing minimum marks, i.e. 60% for General, EWS, and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST, and DAP) along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
Note 2: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standards would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of any best five subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks of any best five subjects would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority, explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.
Selection Procedure:
Stage I: Online Registration for IPM Batch 08 (Session 2026-31), IIM Rohtak.
- Interested applicants who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria are required to fill out the registration form that aims at evaluating the applicant’s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities.
- The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹ 4,937 (Four thousand nine hundred thirty-seven only).

Stage II: IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT 2026)
- All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test that will examine the aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English of the applicant.
- IPM AT 2026 to be conducted on May 10, 2026 (Tentative) from 9:00 AM onwards.
- IPM Aptitude Test will comprise of following sections:

- The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.
- The interviews are proposed to be held in the first or second week of June 2026 (Tentative).
Stage IV: Announcement of Selection List
- The Final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPM AT 2026, past academics and personal interview. The final merit list for the admissions is prepared as per the weightage given below:

2. The institute will tentatively announce the merit list by the second week of July 2026. The offer of admission to the candidate will be made strictly on the basis of merit/ rank list and availability of seats in each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST & DAP) as per the reservation rules of the Government of India.
Stage V: Provisional Admission to IPM Batch 08 (Session 2026-31)
- All selected candidates will receive a provisional offer letter for admission from ipmadmission@iimrohtak.ac.in on their registered Email ID shortly after the merit list declaration. A candidate receiving an admission offer from IIM Rohtak (IIM-R) and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to deposit ₹ 1,00,000/- as the OAA, i.e. Offer Acceptance Amount (or as mentioned in the Offer Letter), through the institute’s admission portal only. An automated receipt and a text message with details of the transaction will be shared by the associated bank on the registered Email ID/ mobile number of the candidate.
- On acceptance of the admission offer and payment of OAA, the candidate will receive his/her confirmation letter for provisional admission to IPM Batch 08 (Session 2026-31) on his/her registered Email ID. The paid OAA will be adjusted with the First Year Programme Fee. Such candidates will be required to pay the 1st instalment of the First Year Programme Fee (as mentioned in the confirmation letter) through the institute’s admission portal only. If a candidate fails to pay the 1st instalment of First Year Programme Fees by the stipulated date mentioned in the admission confirmation letter, the seat will be cancelled.

Stage VI: Reporting for joining the IPM Batch 08 (Session 2026-31)
- Final selected candidates who have deposited OAA and got a confirmation letter for provisional admission will be required to report physically (on the stipulated date and time) on the Institute campus for registration, followed by physical verification of educational documents and other testimonials as per the checklist (in case of online registration, the documents will be verified virtually).
- The academic session will tentatively begin in the third week of August 2026.
- The hostel room allocation to the candidate will be done on a sharing basis. Hostel rooms for the DAP category candidates will be arranged on the ground floor (preferably).

- The admission criteria for IPM Batch 08 (Session 2026-31) may be changed before the declaration of the results.
