Independence Day 2026 – Book Exhibition

As part of the Independence Day 2026 celebrations, the Vidyalaya Library organised a special Book Exhibition on the theme “Footprints in History: The Path to Independence”. The exhibition showcased a carefully selected collection of books highlighting India’s freedom struggle, the lives and contributions of national leaders, important historical events, and the journey towards independence. The display aimed to create awareness among students about India’s rich history and the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, while encouraging them to explore books and develop a deeper interest in the nation’s past. Through this initiative, the library provided students with an engaging opportunity to learn about India’s freedom movement and strengthen their sense of patriotism and respect for the values of independence.

Digital Library Launched @ KV Donimalai

 Kendriya Vidyalaya Donimalai marked a significant milestone on July 16, 2026, with the launch of its Digital Library by Shri R. Pramod, Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Regional Office Bengaluru. The initiative reflects the Vidyalaya’s commitment to strengthening reading culture, digital learning, academic enrichment, and easy access to quality educational resources.

An engaging online storytelling session titled "Read and Grow Through Stories" conducted

 

An engaging online storytelling session titled "Read and Grow Through Stories" was conducted today for the students of Classes IV and V by renowned Storyteller and Story Coach Ms. Neena Girish.

The session as a part of National Reading month was highly interactive, inspiring, and enriching. Through captivating stories, Ms. Girish encouraged students to develop a love for reading, enhance their imagination, and learn valuable life lessons. The students participated enthusiastically and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The school sincerely appreciates Ms. Neena Girish for conducting such a meaningful and fruitful session. Her passion for storytelling and ability to connect with young learners made the session memorable and impactful.
